Reimundo Garcia Jr.

Starting on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, I will be participating in a January exhibition at the Soho Photo Gallery. The show is titled From Beginning Photographer to Exhibiting Artist. It is also the name of a photography course that T. Lawrence Wheatman leads at the NYU School of Continuing Professional Studies. This group show features photography from many of Wheatman’s students from previous semesters and will cover a range of topics and ideas, demonstrating the skills learned in the 10-week course.

For this exhibition, I will be showing one or two pieces from my Water series. It is hosted at the Soho Photo Gallery, at 15 White Street in New York City. Opening Night will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, from 6-8pm. The show will then run until January 31. The gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 1-6pm, or by appointment.
